Wearing Ihraam in Jeddah

Q: "I would like to check the permissibility of wearing Ihraam in Jeddah. We'll be traveling first to Dubai then to Jeddah. We'll be staying in Jeddah at a hotel for one day and night. The reason for stopping in Jeddah is to take rest for my grandmother as she is elderly. I just want to check the permissibility of going into Ihram in Jeddah the next day before leaving for makkah, or should it be done before crossing miqat?" Could mufti please provide me with sources as there is much debate and conflicting information about this. According to what I've checked jamiatul ulema gauteng and jamiatul ulema kzn have ruled that it is not permissible. What would be the basis of ruling otherwise?

Travelling for umrah without a mahram

Q: I am a unmarried girl. I feel too restless nowadays. And I am worried about my life nothing working appropriately. Everything goes wrong. Now every time I feel if I go to umrah then all problems will be sorted out. But I can not go with any mahram. One of my colleagues and her mom and one family will be going soon. Can I go with them though they aren't my relatives. What should I do?

Making the niyyat of ihraam before passing the miqaat

Q: My wife made 2 mistakes in umrah. We are worried that we have to give sadaqa, damm or any other fine for that mistake or it can be ignored.

1. Although we left our home with the niyyat of umra, but when the meekat came she didn't make proper niyat by words. She make proper niyat by words when we reached Makkah.

2. During tawaf she covered her face with full burka as she was worried about her hair becoming exposed.

Boiling Zam Zam water

Q: In may 2016 we went to umra from their we brought the Holy zam zam water. Till Ramadan we used it and the remaining half bottle we kept. Now I opened to use and finish the water. I saw some tiny particles like sand not bacteria in the water. Shall we boiled the water and use it?
