Q: Is it permissible to breed and sell freshwater and aquatic snails? People keep these type of snails in their fish tanks. I do not think anyone (Muslims and non-Muslims) eat them in South Africa.

1. If you do good deeds like fasting, salah, etc. but at the same time you have a business which sells alcohol or where you work sells alcohol, would Allah accept your good deeds like fasting, salah, etc?

2. Also, is selling alcohol the same as drinking it?

3. I heard those who drink alcohol in the dunya (world) wouldn't drink wine in Jannah, does that apply to people who don't drink it but sell alcohol?

Q: Is it permissible to sell saaris in South Africa?

Q: Is it permissible for Muslim businesses to accept credit card payment?

Q: What do you think about binary options eg like expert option or iq option. Are they halal or haram? 

Q: What is the ruling on selling expired goods at a Muslim owned store? Customers are not told that the goods are expired and when they had expired.

Q: Is a govt job halal? Govt takes a loan and gives the employees salary from those money. Is it true? How to consume 100% halal food? When we go to others house as mehman and married to someone whose house is not that concern what should I do in that case?

Q: If a husband brings haram money home and the wife tries hard to stop him from bringing haram money but her husband doesnt stop, what should she do? Should she continue living with him along with her children?

Q:

1. If I open a snooker shop, will that money be halal or haram as I know in Islam betting is haram but in this case we are not telling the players who will come to my shop to play snooker that you have to bet but more then 90% of the boys that play bet, or both of them agree to pay money. So is it still haram or halal?

2. If I wrote on a wall that betting is not allowed here then will it be enough to make snooker shop money halal?

Q: Please can I have advice on the following. I have an accounting/bookkeeping practice and as a result I have many clients that ask me for assistance on insurance, retirement annuity and pension funds as well as other long term investments. With regards to this I have also been approached by a financial institute that would like to provide my clients with the following services:

- Business and or personal insurance

- Retirement annuity and pension funds

- Long term investments (Shariah and Non Shariah compliant)

- Medical aid

- Other services that will fall within similar categories

As a result of me referring my clients to the financial institution I will earn a referral fee initially once the client has signed up and in some instances the fee will also be earned in annuity (on going). Is this referral fee that I will be earning halaal or haram on these products? Will it be permissible on certain products such as the medical aids and the long term investments? Please could evidence be provided from the Quran and or Hadith.
