Purdah

Q: I was married for about a year I asked for a divorce because my husband used to hug his female cousins and cousins wives despite me telling him Islamically it is not right. He accepted it was not right but did not stop and his family defended it because they always did it so basically 'culture'. After the divorce I did my best to guide him but all doors felt close was Allah protecting me? Also will I get sin for asking for a divorce? I ask because his family did not feel its a big issue to get divorced over. 

Q: I am Hanafi and I plan to travel soon for umrah with my wife, my wife's sister and my mother in law. I would like to find out if I can be regarded as my wife's sister's mahram. My wife's sister is 36 years old.

Q: İs covering the face obligatory or recommended for women?

Q: Is the shape of the forearms and calves of a woman required to be concealed infront of non mahrams? 

Also, what about the upper half of the forearms and lower half of calves, as the shape might be exposed if the abaya sleeves fall down or the dress goes up due to wearing tight sleeves and leggings (to conceal skin)?

Q: In Indian airports, we are required to show our faces for immigration. There is no segregation for women, and many people are around while I reveal my face. What should I do?

Q: My friend [24f] makes parda from her brother in law [17m]. However her father's first cousins is her husbands maternal uncles and she doesn't make parda from them. Upon telling her she brought the hadith of brother in law being death and said there is no specific ahadith relating to her having to making parda from her husbands mothers brothers therefore she doesn't have to. Is it true?

Q: If the wife passes away, can her mother live in the same house with the son in law as she has to take care of the children?
