Q: This time of the year sees many people completing Hifz and other courses. People are holding functions (jalsahs) at halls and other venues inviting family and friends. Often the number of people invited are over 200 and 300 people. 5 course meals are served and alot of expense is incurred in feeding people as well as decor and gifts. The men and women are often separated. Is there any Islamic/Sunnah practice regarding holding such events?
Also, is it permissable to attend such functions and accept the invitation?
Q: My question is that while recitation of Quran Shareef, I touch holy verses by my finger, during this I touch my mobile phone or keychain with same hand and finger, does the mobile and keychain also become respectful? Or its ok to keep them on the floor or anywhere?
Q: Please advise if it is permissible to use a verse of the Quran as a school/madrasah 'anthem'.

Q: Should we stop without taking a breath, and then continue recitation with the same breath at the end of the first Aayah of Suratul Kahf?
Q: There is a verse in the Quraan in which Allah (SubhaanaHu Wa Ta'alaa) says that the patient ones will be given reward without hisaab. Does this mean they will not be held accountable and given immediate entry into Jannah or does it mean that they will be given reward after accounting but a lot of reward?
Q: If a group of people were reciting Quraan Shareef together and they read an ayah of sajdah, how would they make sajdah? Would they make just one or one for reading and one for listening?
Q: For a very long time we used to hear noises in the house at night. We would hear people walking up and down the stairs, down the corridor, chairs moving and the bathroom taps open at night. Even some that would visit could hear the sounds. We would get sick very often but every time we went to doctors and did various tests it would all be clear. Nobody could tell us what was wrong with us.
From the beginning of the year we started playing Quran Sharief in the house in the background 24/7. Ever since, we haven't had any issues Alhamdulillah. We stopped hearing the sounds and our health has been better. Alhamdulillah Is this disrespect to the Quran Sharief?
