Nikaah & Marriage Issues

Q: I have found a spouse for myself and a very good one alhamdulillah, however he is from a different culture from me. I have nothing against interracial marriage or different cultures getting married in fact I find it very fascinating. I am scared what my family might say and that they will not accept. My brother is also a mufti and there are people in my area who have married from different cultures but my parents may have a different opinion when it comes to there own family. What should I do to overcome being scared and to be confident to tell my family?

Q: Why should I get married? Can't I stay alone and pray and do sajda and sadaqa in Allah's path. Marriage would lead me to gunaah and all?

Q: If the person performing nikaah becomes 1 witness and 1 other male person. Is nikkah valid or does it have to be 2 different people. Not the person performing nikaah?

Q: What is the ruling for the wife that hits her husband?

Q: Nikkah with father's brothers wife (Chachi) is allowed in Islam?

Q: If a married Hindu female converts to Islam then what will be the status of her marriage? Will it still be valid or would become invalid?

Q: Alhamdulliah Allah Ta'ala blessed me with two daughters. What is my duty and responsibility to them. What are the things a father needs to teach a child?

Q: When someone does nikaah at home. What is the procedure with witnesses? How many does the male need and how many the female? I have heard even without witnesses it is counted and it is only sunnat to have witnesses and to do khutbah. If someone has done nikkah without witnesses and khutbah is it counted?

Q: When meeting one's potential spouse before the decision of getting married to the person, what in appearance will the person be allowed to see and what will be haraam to see?

Q: I am one month away from giving birth. Does Surah Maryam help to ease labour? What else can I read for a healthy baby, easy labour and at time of labour? Also have been told to eat a lot of dates. Please advise if there is any truth to Surah Maryam recitation and eating dates.
