Q: I want to go to Makkah for ziyarat but not with niyyat of umrah. Is it allowed to go to Makkah without ihraam? I live in Dammam and as per my visa I am not allowed to do umrah. So I can’t do umrah. Also I haven’t done umrah before so can I visit Makkah?

Q: My friend came out of ihram without shaving his head. He was willing to shave his head but someone misled him that it's not necessary if umrah was done once before. He completed his sa'ee and asked someone to shave his head but he didn't understand or whatever that person said. He came to the hotel room around 2 am and in the morning I asked him why he didn't shave his head so he told me that I asked the guard in Makkah where to cut my hair and they said no need.
Anyhow in the morning I told him that its necessary to cut/shave the hairs of your head and around 10 am or 11 am he shaved his head. He was out of ihram for about 9 hours. What is the penalty, dam or something else?

Q: I want to know how to cut a females hair to come out of ihram. The front of her hair grows shorter than the back. Do I need to cut the back and front separately? (If so, must I do anything to recompense for the times when we just cut the back?)
Q: If one wishes to wear a clean ihram while in the state of ihram, is the new ihram permitted to have a scent like a normal soap scent? Can one prepare ones second ihram with perfume?
Q: When we performed Umrah, at that time some work was going on with the ghilaf of the Ka'bah. We collected some threads and brought it home. Should we keep it or return?
Q: Is it permissible for a person in the state of ihraam to apply ointment for pain? The reason I am asking is that all ointments generally have a scent, whereas all scented things are prohibited in the state of ihraam.
