Q: Is there any special virtue established for fasting during the month of Muharram?
Q: During Ramadan, my wife and I began to hug and kiss and touch each other’s private areas. This caused me to release some stuff and she also became wet though we did not have intercourse. Does this require a kaffarah or is making up the fast enough? If this requires a kaffarah, what is the kaffarah for this?

Q: Respected Mufti saab please could you tell me the amount a person will have to pay if he missed 6 years and 6 months Salaah. As well as 6 years of fasts that were missed. In those six years 3 years fasts were kept but broken intentionally through eating. Please calculate as if 6 years of fasts were missed completely.

Q: I used a mouthwash for bleeding gums five minutes before sehri ended and rinsed my mouth. Ten minutes after sehri, I could still get the taste of the mouthwash when I swallowed my saliva. Is my fast valid or did this nullify my fast?
Q: Outside Ramadhaan, one frequently fasts but one’s object is really to try and get sugar levels down. Would such fasts be deemed nawaafil fasts or merely regarded as a personal exercise not deserving of any reward?
Q: The shawaal fasts, should they be observed directly after Eid day or can one fast any of the 7 days during the month of shawaal?
Q: My aunt was fasting. Due to her very low blood sugar levels, she broke her fast, so must she give kafaraah or must she only keep a qadha fast?
