Duas are Accepted when Looking at the Ka’bah Shareef
Q: When we see the Ka’bah Shareef, are our duas accepted at that time?

Q: I frequently suffer from colds and flu. If I am near an air conditioner and my head becomes cold, I immediately become sick. On account of my condition, is it permissible for me to wear a warm hat (beanie) in the state of ihraam so that I do not become sick?
Q: Is it permissible for one who is not ill to wear a mask in the state of ihraam?
Q: Three ladies came for umrah. They made three umrahs but never cut their hair at all. They are now in Madinah Shareef. They did not come with their husbands (i.e. they came with other mahrams). Should they give sadaqah or damm? If sadaqah, then how much?
Q: During tawaf on the first floor there are times where construction barriers are blocking off certain areas. It is such that we have to walk diagonally where our shoulder moves away from the Kaabah and it seems like our back is facing the Kaabah (but we can't be certain because we can't see the Kaabah from the first floor). It happens few times during tawaaf. What should we do in this situation?
Q: Is it permissible for one in the state of ihraam to cover his face due to being ill and suffering from hay fever due to dust? Such a person is advised to cover his face to save himself from the effects of the dust. If such a person covers his face with a scarf, what will be the damm?

1. While in ihraam, can one wipe his head and face with a small hand towel as it is going to be hot, especially in Arafah?
2. While in ihraam, can one use toothpaste to brush his/her teeth?
Q: In many hajj and umrah questions, the terms “damm” and “sadaqah” are used. What do these terms refer to?
Q: Please explain the mas’alah pertaining to a muhrim (one in the state of ihraam) removing hair from any part of his body.
Q: A woman who was traveling for umrah entered the state of ihraam. While traveling, her period commenced. What should she do?
