Nikaah & Marriage Issues

Q: What is the status of applying saffron on the head of a newborn child. Is it 1) Sunnah 2) Mustahab 3) Permissible 4) Impermissible?

Q: Is there purdah between a man and his wife's grandmothers?

Q: During the passed month of Ramadhaan, I engaged myself in dua few minutes before iftaar time. I asked Allah for indication for a suitable spouse, immediately after terminating the dua, my parents mentioned a girl to me. Should I accept this as an answer? What would be a permissible means to initiate a marriage proposal. It is to be noted that I do not know who this girl is. I have met her father a couple of times before, but just in passing.

Q: I have a 3 months old daughter and on my delivery time I had a blood transfusion. My body is not fully recovered yet and I am pregnant again, so I would like to get the best advise, whether I should keep this baby or should do something about it?

Q: I recently did my Nikkah over the phone. My husband lives 100 miles away from me. He was at the Masjid with his two witnesses plus the Imam and I was at home. Q: I would like to know if a husband in Islam is not financially capable of taking care of his wife and children. Does it become his parents responsibility to take care of their needs? Is it okay for man to marry a woman if he does not have a Job and he knows he can't support her? Would it then also be his parents responsibility to take care of them financially, even though he knew going into the marriage that he won't be able to support her?

Q: I understand that it is haraam for men to act like females and wear female clothing. Can mufti explain to me as to what the punishment of those who interact with these people or allow them to participate in their conversations will be? 

Q: I would like to know if black bangles are allowed for babies for protection or is it more a Hindu custom. The little knowledge I have it's not part of our Sunnah.

Q: Nowadays, majority of husbands have a single wife with the exception of some. In this situation, how can a woman be asked to tolerate her husband's second marriage. Isn't it a responsibility of the husband to inform her prior to the marriage of him entering into another marriage so that she can choose to marry him or not?
