Nikaah & Marriage Issues

Q: Should one marry right after settling down financially? If his brother and parents are in financially not well, and wants to support them for the time being can he delay his marriage? and after marriage is the wife his primary responsibility or parents too have the equal right? If a man wants to buy a house should he register it on the name of his wife or mother? Who has more right over this issue?

Q: I have in the past attended a marriage lecture for pre weds and they encouraged women to purchase lingerie garments that a worn by kuffaar women, in the bedroom for the husbands desires and they also mentioned one should adorn themselves before the husband in (marital relations). Is this something forbidden in Islam or encouraged? What is the approach to the bedroom life of a Muslim?

Q: What is the status of applying saffron on the head of a newborn child. Is it 1) Sunnah 2) Mustahab 3) Permissible 4) Impermissible?

Q: Is there purdah between a man and his wife's grandmothers?

Q: During the passed month of Ramadhaan, I engaged myself in dua few minutes before iftaar time. I asked Allah for indication for a suitable spouse, immediately after terminating the dua, my parents mentioned a girl to me. Should I accept this as an answer? What would be a permissible means to initiate a marriage proposal. It is to be noted that I do not know who this girl is. I have met her father a couple of times before, but just in passing.

Q: I'm interested in a guy who belongs to the Ahle-Hadith and I am a Sunni. If I do nikaah with him, will it be legal (jayez)?

Q: I have a 3 months old daughter and on my delivery time I had a blood transfusion. My body is not fully recovered yet and I am pregnant again, so I would like to get the best advise, whether I should keep this baby or should do something about it?

Q: I recently did my Nikkah over the phone. My husband lives 100 miles away from me. He was at the Masjid with his two witnesses plus the Imam and I was at home. The Imam called me, asked me questions regarding to the Marriage also asked my wali which was my 16 year old son if he excepted this Marriage which of corse he agreed. Please can you tell me if my nikaah is valid?

Q: I would like to know if a husband in Islam is not financially capable of taking care of his wife and children. Does it become his parents responsibility to take care of their needs? Is it okay for man to marry a woman if he does not have a Job and he knows he can't support her? Would it then also be his parents responsibility to take care of them financially, even though he knew going into the marriage that he won't be able to support her?
