Nikaah & Marriage Issues

Kufu

Q: A girl received a proposal, boy's father is a vegetable merchant, but boy is an engineer. Girl's father is also an engineer. Son of vegetable merchant is kufu for daughter of a University professor?

Contraceptives

Q: Me and my husband have two children. One has retinal dystrophy and the second has not been tested yet as he is too young. The doctor has told me its a genetic condition that was passed on from me and my husband through recessive genes. Me and my husband are second cousins. My question is would contraception be allowed for me not to have a third child as I have been told it would have a good chance of a genetic problem/disability. If I did have a third child, would I be to blame in Islam if I knew it could be passed on. What if my child hates me when he is older.

Making a condition that the husband cannot remarry

Q: I just wanted to ask a question. I am having my nikaah done at the mosque in a week. I have researched upon the topic of allowing your husband to remarry. I wanted to have a condition in my nikaah that my husband should not remarry whilst he is married to me. If he was to do so and hide it from me he will be negligent upon his part. My query is where I live we don't have any blank space etc on the nikaah form to write such a condition. Is it enough for me to just mention it to my husband at the time of nikaah or before etc? He is already aware this is what I want as I have told him before. But online I have read on many sites that you should mention these things at the time of the nikaah otherwise it will not be valid? Please tell me how I should go about it.

Anal sex

Q: I want to ask if it is permissible for a husband to have intercourse with wife from back side while wearing condom? Confusion is that some people say that if one wears condom there is no physical contact so doing sex from back is valid.

Giving gold as mahr

Q: As per the need of the time of those days, the devaluation of money is going so fast and islaam made the nisaab of zakat in gold and silver. According to this if we make the transactions of mahr in Nikaah in gold, will it be valid shariah or not. In the case of divorce I find a man divorced his wife after 10 year's of the nikah, that time the Mehar was Rs. 1125/= that's also not paid at the time of nikah. With the papers of divorce, he sent the same amount to her after 10 years. So if they made the transaction in gold, the divorced woman would have something to support her for the future.

Communicating via one's sister before marriage

Q: A girl is engaged to a guy, her nikaah will be after few months. The guy's sister is close friend of the girl. So is there anything wrong if the girl asks her friend who is the guy's sister to convey him some deeni demands that she has from her future husband? (like the girl wants her husband to get involved in work of tableegh and wear Islamic dresses and few other demands). Similarly, is there anything wrong if she put forth these demands to her future husband via his sister?
