Nikaah & Marriage Issues

Touching one's mother in-law with lust

Q: An accident occurred in bus journey some years ago, that is: my mother in law's seat was beside my seat. She was feeling ill because of some illness but I was feeling lust/desire but not highly exited. Then I probably touch her (not her private part). But I was mentally addicted by shaitan’s waswasa. She didn't know this was my situation. I had no idea before about marriage, mahrams and hurmat-e-mushara. After I came to know about hurtmat-e-musaahara, I repented and made Towba to Allah Ta'ala. Now I am very alert about shaitan’s waswasa. But mentally I am worried about that accident. Now my wife would be lawful? I have one daughter. Please clearly advise me.

Breastfeeding one's step son

Q: I have a question about my step son. What does Islam say about breastfeeding a step son (he is my husband's son, his mother has left this child in our custody). If I am not wrong, every child has a right to be breastfed according to Islam. So as a stepmother is it permissible for me to breastfeed him? Is it sawab or gunaah?

Performing a Secret nikaah and thereafter re-performing the nikaah

Q: My daughter received a wedding proposal. We have accepted, but the problem is the boy can only marry her when he has completed his studies [1 year's time]. The kids want to see one another. Can we have a contractual nikkah now, no hankie pankie, but just spend time in parents presence, then when he can earn a living have another nikkah and they can now live as man and wife Insha Allah. What can you advise mufti. We don't want the kids to do zinnah/fitna and we understand that the boy wants to finish his studies, both sides of the parents can't afford to maintain the new couple now. Please advise.
