Q: After how many feedings will foster feeding be established?

Q: I have an important question which I would like to ask on behalf of a friend of mine. I shall explain the whole situation and would like some Islamic advice on the matter.

Basically one my friends family have taken him to Pakistan to get married to one of his relatives there, at the time of his travel he was unaware of this. My friend likes somebody else who he would like to marry but due to his family pressure and everything he has unwillingly got engaged to his relative from Pakistan although his heart is still with the girl in UK whom he loves and wanted to wife. The girl and him have mutual feelings and still want to be together, he is not willing to forget this girl and claims he still wants to be with her, but his family have trapped him into this wedding which he is not happy with. I would just like to know on his behalf whether this marriage which was forced upon him is considered valid in Islam, because a few islamic websites I have checked on have said a marriage which is forced or not the happiness of an individual it is not valid in Islam's and Allah's eyes, is this true?

Also would it be appropriate for my friend and the girl he loves to still stay in contact regardless of this marriage which has been conducted without his happiness? What would be the best Islamic way to tackle such a situation?

Q: Is taking contraception pills before your first child haraam?

Q: I'm really worried and need advice on the matter of first cousin marriages.

1. What is the Islamic view on the matter? Should I be worried about the research online which says the chances of having a kid born with some kind of disability increases with first cousin marriages.

2. Could you please give me famous examples, specifically of first cousin marriages in Islam. Did Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) marry his first cousin? Was Ali's (radhiyallahu anhu) marriage with Fatima his first cousin?

Q: If one's husbands brother touch his brothers wife with lust or the wife touches her husbands brother with lust, does it affect the relationship between the husband and wife?

Q: My gynecologist told my husband and I after the birth of our daughter that, if I should fall pregnant again me or the baby will die. My last born was a twin but I lost the one baby. There was complications with me in theatre because they could not control my bleeding and I could not have a baby for the past 7 months. Thats why I am asking if I can have an abortion if I fall pregnant again.

Q: Is it a must to shave a newborn girl's head?

Q: I am in dire need of advice regarding dowry (mehr) in Islamic marriages. Jewellery of an x amount was given at the time of the nikkah as mehr. I have had doubts about the amount and when I asked my husband he refused to provide a slip, or say where it was purchased from. However upon investigation the findings are that the jewellery is worth 50 to 75% less than the price that was stipulated. Even the selling price would never have matched the price that was stipulated. What is the ruling on this? Is the nikaah still valid?
