Nikaah & Marriage Issues

Giving up masturbation

Q: I have a problem (of making ghusal farz by hands) for the last 5 years. I have tried my best to leave it. Once, I have been able to leave it for 3 months but after that I was caught by it again. I have asked forgiveness every time from Almighty Allah and alhmdulillah He has blessed me every time, but I couldnt leave the sin.

I am average in ibadaat. Sometimes I perform salaah 5 times a day for a month or few months and sometimes I leave it out for a few days and sometimes I dodge a few prayers.

Kindly tell me a simple and easy solution to leave out this sin.

Child born out of wedlock

Q: If a child is born out of wedlock (through zina), will he be attributed to the mother or the biological father? The biological father is pleased to take him as his own child and give him his surname. Is he the responsibility of the biological father and will the biological father have any rights over him? What is the shar'ee ruling in regard to a child born out of wedlock?

Throwing food at the groom before the wedding

Q: When people in my family get married, they normally make a big thing with the groom. They splash him and throw food on him and make a big noise. This is before the nikaah. When he gets married then they trouble the couple and on the first night they peep and other things.

Would this be emulating kuffaar? I hate participating in this, but they force me to and get angry when I don’t participate and really give it to me. How should I combat this?

Equality between wives

Q: If I marry a second wife while I am in financial difficulty? Can I treat each wife according to my financial capacity? I will request both of them to accept my financial position. Can I marry a second wife with her consent of supporting her with only a monthly budget of 20000 rupees.

Husband checking his wife's messages and social media accounts

Q: Wouldn't it be permissible for a husband to check his wife's phone and her messages in WhatsApp and social media? I have seen some Ulama say it is not permissible because it is her private interactions. But I was confused about what they said. How else can you ensure that your wife is not falling into something bad? Isn't it like checking your child's phone?
