Nikaah & Marriage Issues

Q: I want to know why is it that men in Islam can marry more than one woman and have sex with these multiple women but a woman cannot have multiple relationships?

Q:

1. If the girl's side has the nikah and the boy's side has the walimah a week later, is that considered a walimah?

2. If the above is not considered as the walimah, can the supper that the girl's side provide after the nikah at the masjid be considered as the walimah in order to fulfill the sunnah?

Q: My question is about ilaa. If a couple is married and rukhsati is not done yet and is due after 5 months and the husband says to wife that he will consummate after rukhsati which is after five months. But the husband does not take any oath just say that he will not do consummation untill rukhsati. Is it ilaa ? Husband and wife have met once after nikah but are still virgin.

Q: Please provide me with the ruling regarding the kaffarah and the compensation to heirs that a woman in the situation below would be eligible for:

A surgical abortion was done at 14 weeks (90 days) without the knowledge of her husband. The woman is now overcome by guilt and wants to repent.

Q: I've been working in corporate company for a few years, and have met a girl there. We both really like each other. She however, isn't Muslim. She's a Christian. She really has a great relationship with God. But, she doesn't have intention of converting - even though she's considered it a number of times.

Q: Can a Muslim take a second wife without any reason. I mean, if he is happy with his wife and children, does he need a reason to take a second wife or he can just take a second wife without any valid reason. Someone said that you need a reason to take a second wife.

Q: Can a woman get married without the approval of her wali?

Q: I gave my wife R5000 cash mehar money. When I got married I did not have any debt. Now I have a R45 000 debt to pay. My wife keeps telling me to use the mehar money to pay part of the debt. Is this permissible in Islam?
