Q: Is it permissible to recite Surah Fatiha at the time of tashahhud if you don’t know what to say.

Q: I have seen many women read salaah with tights or skinny jeans and they put a burqa over. The burqa ends around their knees and the rest of their legs are visible. Is the salaah valid?

Q: I have been amongst the Muslims who have rarely prayed, but now I started praying. I don't know some words or didnt memorize some words. Is it permissible for me to pray with a paper beside me explaining all the actions and words of Salaah?

Q: I will be travelling soon to a university to study and I will stay there for about 2 months. I will come back after 2 months to my home and stay for about a week and go back. So my question is during my 7 days at my house do I pray full or pray qasr?

1. Is midnight calculated as the halfway point between sunset and sunrise, or sunset and subh saadiq?

2. Is there some valid difference of opinion in the Hanafi Madhab on the above?

3. Is there more reward if witr is performed after midnight?

4. Is there more reward if tahaujjud is performed after midnight?

Q: In our country, fajar prayer starts at 3.50am and magrib starts 6.50pm. What is the correct time to perform tahajjud prayer?

Q: Can we read tahajjud before heading to bed (time might be 11pm or 12 pm)?

Q: A person goes to visit someone else and they read salaah in their house. Later on they discover that the qibla they faced in salaah was incorrect and was in the opposite direction. Do they have to repeat all the salaah they performed at the house (including in the past)?

Q: If I smoke cigarettes, will 40 days salat not be accepted. Is it true? I mean, does smoking cigarettes have any effect on my salaah?

Q: I would like to know if I get the Imam in Ruku in Jamat, should I read Surah Fatiha first after takbir then go to Ruku or should I go to Ruku directly?
