Q: Is it permissible to breed and sell freshwater and aquatic snails? People keep these type of snails in their fish tanks. I do not think anyone (Muslims and non-Muslims) eat them in South Africa.

Q:
1. If you do good deeds like fasting, salah, etc. but at the same time you have a business which sells alcohol or where you work sells alcohol, would Allah accept your good deeds like fasting, salah, etc?
2. Also, is selling alcohol the same as drinking it?
3. I heard those who drink alcohol in the dunya (world) wouldn't drink wine in Jannah, does that apply to people who don't drink it but sell alcohol?
Q: I thought that if you commit shirk, you will not enter Jannah but I also read a hadith that if you have a debt then you will not enter jannah, what happens on day of judgement to someone who never paid his debt?
Q: My husband works in his father’s business. His father deals in interest and sells haraam. My husband knows it is haraam but is not interested in getting another job.
Also, my husband has almost hit me. I really want to be financially independent from him. I don’t know where we will be financially in a few years’ time. I do have enough savings to study something and go out and work. Should I do this?
I have considered starting a home business, but I don’t know what kind of home business will succeed and generate income. I don’t know what to sell or where to start from.
Q: Is it permissible for a Muslim woman to work in Islam? Who is responsible to provide for her if she does not work?
Q: I am from India. Me, my husband and kids stay with my in-laws in their house. Can we take a loan for buying our own house.
Q: Can a Muslim take out a usuruous loan to support their family if they are living in conditions that are dangerous such as, if their home is being burglarized and living in a dangerous neighborhood filled with gangs and drugs? Is this a condition of zaroorah (necessity) or haajah (need)? Can one commit a major sin, dealing with Riba (Usury/Interest), in order to get his family away from these conditions. Please advise.
Q: We are planning to build a website through which people can plan events like weddings, parties, programs, etc. Since this website is for both Muslims and non-Muslims, we also need to include services such as dance groups, DJ’s, photography for weddings, etc. booking services on this website. We don’t have any direct involvement in those activities as we only act as a mediator. The customer who visits this website can book any of the advertised services as they wish. We charge the clients advertising on this website a commission per booking. Some other services that will be advertised are catering, hall booking, mehndi designers, boutique designers, wedding cards developers, travelling services, light and sound services, stage decorators, etc. Is it permissible for us to include the haraam services (e.g. photography, dance groups, etc.) on our site?
