Advertising online

Q:

(1) I wish to advertise online for a certain company. They will pay me for the advertising I place on the internet of their products. Before doing so, I have to enter in a contract with them that I will not use any copyrighted materials on a website I run. Else it would be illegal (in the eyes of kaffir governmental laws) and violation of our contract. Is it necessary to honour this agreement I may make with them? I consider copyrite to be not recognised in Shari'a.

(2) The agreement also has a number of other mundane clauses and conditions that do not have a Deeni implication like above. For example, the agreement states that I cannot advertise on a certain type of website, or give someone a link to their website via email. If I agree to their 'operating agreement', is it necessary to follow all these laws?

(3) If not, will I be sinful for dishonouring my 'operating agreement' contract with them?

(4) Similarly, will any potential income from this business operation be haraam or 'tainted' if I do not follow the permissible clauses of the agreement/contract?

Working in a place that sells pork and wine

Q: I am a student and working part time. I want to know that if I work in a place where pork and wine etc are sold and I would have to deal with these things, is it permissible in a non-Muslim country? In addition, I have tried my best to find a job that does not involve this stuff but either the pay rates were far below the minimum wage rate or I had no experience of that work.

Investing borrowed money

Q: My mother lent me R 15 000 which I was able to pay back. I invested the R15 000 on her behalf. I invested more as a gift but now had to use some of that money but the loan amount is still safe. Can I use the extra money without having to pay it back as we never agree to more that just the R 15000?

Using the word "Magic" in a business name

Q: Kindly advise if it is acceptable to use the word magic in the name of a business. Magic in Islam is haraam but the purpose for the the word magic in the business is not evil by intention. We sell gadgets and gifts so only to suggest that what we have for sale is not ordinary. We do not sell any magic products etc. Also advise if having the numbers 666 in a cell phone number is considered wrong?
