Selling Beer Powder

Q:

1. Is it permissible for a Muslim to sell beer powder? The names of the beer powder in question are mnanti beer powder and kings brew beer powder. According to my knowledge, these items can only be used to make beer.

2. One of the staff members in this business is a Muslim. He works in the receiving and despatch department. Is it permissible for him to do this work?

3. If the company says that the profits from selling these haraam items are totally separate from the other items and it is taken out and spent in different avenues, will it be permissible?

Mandatory Insurance Claims

Q: My friend was going from Torino to Rome in a car with his friends (my friend was not the car owner). Another person crashed his car into the car which my friend was travelling in. In Italy, it is mandatory for every car to have insurance. In the case of an accident, anyone who was in the car and was injured, whether the owner or just a passenger, will be paid some money, depending on the extent of their injury. My friend was injured in this accident and his collar bone was broken. Regarding this situation, we want to ask the following questions:

Q: A competition is being run where a certain amount is given as a donation and the donor is entered into a draw for an Umrah ticket and a quad bike. The money is used for a campaign to free a prisoner and the prizes are sponsored by third parties. Is this type of competition permissible?

Trying to Legalise Interest

Q: A person is asked for a loan of R50 000. He offers the R50 000 loan together with a soccer ball stating, “I am selling this soccer ball to you at R20 000, together with loaning you the R50 000.” The creditor now wants payment of R70 000. Is this deal permissible?
