Who were the Ashaairah?

Q: Someone says that the Ashaaira were never found in the time of Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and also in the time of the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu anhum). He says that they are only recent and its not good to follow them. What is a good answer to to give him?

This is what he is saying: Among the ulama in the time of our Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), there were no Ashaaira. Most Muslims know that Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) is of the highest level in all aspects. He says that the ulama believe that Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) is of the highest in all aspects of Islam. Who knows about Allah more? Till the big ulama like the 4 imams, there was no one who was part of the Ashaaira. Why were they are not Asharis? This Ashari thought is a bidah. No Sahaabah or Tabieen had even an iota of belief as an Ashari.

Making up a poem

Q: I have an English project at school in which I need a very specific kind of urdu poem. However, I did not find any suitable urdu poem, so I thought of making up a poem based on a false story, or a real story but with false details, just to achieve the requirements of my assignment. My intention is not to report the story in the poem, but to illustrate the details like setting and characters, genre and the language in it. Is this permissible in Islam, or will this be considered a lie?

Black Friday

Q: What is the Islamic perspective on Black Friday sales? I’ve read that this day is linked to Christian holidays. Even some Muslim businesses are promoting items for this day.

Stray thoughts

Q: I am so lost I cry everynight for guidance for a little sign from Allah and I beg Allah to help me but nothing ever happens. I begin to wonder if, when you die, that's it, the end. What if Allah is not there but somthing else is?

Also, would you advise to stop watching videos online as they have misguided me and my iman before.
