Q: I recently decided to start praying again and become more religious, but I've been getting tons of doubts (astagfirullah) about the existence of Allah. Whenever I try pondering about the signs of Allah, more questions come up, and more doubts arise. I just cannot fathom how Allah exists without nobody to create him (which makes no sense). I also do not feel connection with Allah in my salah as I God forbid am losing believe in the existence of a creator. I'm trying my best to look up facts and signs and read the Quran and so far it's been to no avail. But I'm not quitting praying and reading Quran no matter what as I hope this is a phase that will go away. But it's been troubling me a lot and I just wish it would go away. And whenever I am in salah my brain is telling me to pretend there is a God even though there isn't...blah blah and I keep fighting myself to convince myself there is a God in my salah rather than to believe in God and just enjoy my salah with my creator. I think I'm losing my mind but I just want to focus on believing again. Also, I'm confused as to how all other planets exist and what is their purpose if Allah created us to worship him? Why are they there? Is there no alternate explanation? I really want to believe in Allah and the messenger and not doubt at all. I have a hard time typing this question as I do not want to gain sin by typing out my doubts. God forgive me. If nothing else works, please make dua for me and other's like me who are trying to find their faith through conviction again. Salam.

Q:
1- Some of our own Deobandi ulama have one objection on the Darse Nizami system that Darse-Nizami focuses of Fiqh and comparitive Fiqh even when teaching the Hadith books, hence a Darse-Nizami graduate does not have much expertise in Hadith and Usool-e-Hadith and related Hadith sciences. What is the answer to such people?
2 - How can a Darse Nizami student ensure that he becomes an expert and master of Hadith sciences(such as Asma ur Rijaal etc) and Usool e Hadith?
3 - Who were some Hadith and Hadith sciences experts among Ulama-e-Deoband? Can you please mention a few names.
4- If anyone from among Ulama e Deoband was particularly expert in the science of Asma ur Rijal please mention it.
5- Maulana Habib ur Rahman Azami (died 1992 ) was considered a master of Hadith and its sciences , in addition to being an expert in Fiqh and a knowledgable Mufti as well. Is this correct?

Q: My question here is in relation to spirituality astral projection and out of body experiences. I have been experimenting with such over the past few years and I have seen things and have connected them with Islam. I feel that it all basically boils down to light and darkness. And more and more one embraces the light the closer he gets to God. Our religion through the years has changed and now is termed Islam through our beloved prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam). The same message was preached to Isa (Alaihis Salaam) as Musa (Alaihis Salaam) as and all the one lakh 25 thousand prophets who have been sent to the earth. With astral projection and spirituality it's like I have gone back to the roots of Islam before the prayers were sent down. Do not mistake me, I pray 5 times a day alhamdullilah. But if I can connect with the universe and the light and the creator on this level follow the tenants of the religion by only doing good and not wronging anyone. Isn't it the same? Wasn't Islam a way of life which was given to the people of Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) so that they can embrace it live a better life on earth to their salvation and connect with their creator. Isn't this because over the years since the time of Adam (Alaihis Salaam) we have been led astray and we have evolved to become smaller beings with no way to see divine power and energy to extents that people in the past used to. If I am able to do so at this point, must I not embrace the light and the blessings of Allah and delve deeper and try to understand this so that I can be closer to my creator and do more good and spread light in this universe?
