Q: Can a person use interest money to install an owl box and bat house on his property?

Q: My friend is asking me for Rs.100 for a business and he is telling me that he will give me the money after 1 week along with 2.3% of the Rs.100, that is after 7 days he will give me Rs.116. Can I take this Rs.116 or is it haram?

Moreover he is telling me how much you give me I will give you after 7 days with 2.3% of your invested money. Please clarify, if it is halal I will proceed otherwise I will not.

Q:

1. I have a very old debt of almost 15 years back that some of the places I have the debt with has written it off and some is still charging me interest. Am I liable to pay this interests?

2. And on the other hand a friend bought things on my account also 15 years ago and the place is still holding me accountable, however the person that bought the goods have passed away. Am I liable for this account?

Q: Google recently launched an application named TEZ where transactions can be done between banks to banks. Google TEZ also provides some great offers such as scratch cards, and other offers when we use that app or refer friends to this application. We can be able to earn some money through referals and transactions. Can I participate in this referal programs and transactions so that I can earn some money through that (intention is to earn money) . Is this money halal or haram? I have done transactions only because of getting money or gift cards or scratch cards which contains some money, for this I transfer some money to my friends account and he returns the same money after getting those gifts, is this criteria halal or not?

Q: Can we enter into politics or discuss about it in public? Is there any limitations based on Shariah law?

Q: Can we use interest money to build toilets in our home or can we donate it (the interest money) to the musjid for building toilets?

Q: It has come to my attention that my father pays home and car insurance. Is it permissible to make use of a car that insurance is been paid on? e.g. to use the car to go for Salaah, to do necessary shopping etc. Is it permissible to live in a house that insurance is been paid for?

Q: Why is it haraam to sell dogs?

Q: My father started a business, but after some time, one of his staff engaged in fraud, causing the business to become bankrupt. Now, because my father owes money to many customers, he took a loan from the bank to pay them back. However, this loan is accumulating interest which my father will have to pay to the bank. Can I use the interest money that accrues on my account which is separate to my father’s account, to pay the interest amount that my father owes to the bank?

Q: I have taken a loan from some people. I have also done coaching under some teachers without paying them. It has been quite some years (i.e. almost 4) and now I have the capability to pay them back. But unfortunately, as I am seeing, some of them whom I have met to return their deserved money, they do not want to take it back! I had to beg them to accept the money. They just would not take it! They say, "Never mind, you don't have to give it back. Oh come on! Leave it. I have a lot of money, I do not need to money," and so forth. I feel that if they do not take it back that means I have not paid them the money back! So, after a long request they do. Please help me! I am about to meet my teachers and they are probably going to win! What will I do afterwards! What can they do instead of taking the lent money? Please help me Shaikh. Jazak Allah khair in advance.
