Reprimanding an employee for passing on wrong information

Q: We have a company and an employee went on vacation. Upon his Return, before coming back to the office, he met another employee who told Him that he has been fired. This was incorrect information and hence the Employee (who returned from vacation) didn't show up to the office yet. We are investigating this further to validate if the second employee did or did not pass on the false message of being fired. If this turns out to be true, what should be our action on it?

Partnership

Q: I have a shop in Karachi. A friend of mine has opened a business in the shop. I did not agree to sharing the profit but agreed that he pays a nominal rent until the shop goes in profit. He is paying is this nominal rent. But he keeps saying that we should agree on some deal that relates to the profit in the business. A suggestion is that instead of 'ijareh I become a partner in business. Can I consider the shop as investment from my side equal to the market price of the shop? He also has invested in the shop. So is it jaíz if we make a deal that 60% of the total profit will be for his efforts paid to him and the remaining 40% will be divided based on the investment of each of us?

Taking the money owed to one by one's father from his money

Q: My dad owes me some money, however he thinks that whatever money I give him, he doesn't have to pay me back. However I am the one that looks after his money fully. He keeps his savings with me also. Would it be permissible for me to take my money without telling him, he will not realise that I have taken my money as it is a very little amount. If I ask for my money back he may get upset and offended.

Loyalty points

Q: A person gave me money in order to purchase some items for him from an online store. This online store has a 'Loyalty Programme' where one receives 'reward/loyalty' points in proportion to a fixed percentage of the total purchase price. I have now received these 'reward/loyalty points' in direct lieu of the purchase I made using his money. The 'reward/loyalty points' for this purchase amount to R450. These points are not exchangeable for cash. Furthermore, I only received these points after making payment; I could not use these points to receive a discount on his purchase. Since I used his money, am I entitled to these points? Or must I give him R450 in cash (as one cannot send/transfer points)?

Graphic designing

Q: I am a graphic designer by profession. In my line of work, I have to prepare advertisements for my clients. The adverts have the pictures of the products which are on promotion. Invariably, some products that are advertised have pictures e.g. Milo – the picture of the tin has a picture of a youngster kicking a football. My clients will want the picture of the Milo tin on the advertising pamphlet. In the circumstances, will it be permissible for me to put the photographs of the products on the pamphlets which are solely used for advertising purposes?
