Q: I work as a customs officer who collects tax from people. I had heard that it's haraam and I really want to know the truth.

Q: I want to enter a soccer tournament. There’s an entrance fee of R700 per team to cover the costs of the tournament. A person is donating a prize for the winner. Is it permissible to play in such a tournament?

Is it permissible to get the website theme free (without asking for permission) and then make money from it and then pay to the owner the cost of the theme?

Q: I want to know that is it permissible to have an insurance for purpose of marraige of one's sister or daughter?

Q: Here, in South Africa, when a person passes away, he has to pay 20% estate duty of his total estate to the government. Many a time, this amount runs into millions and is an extremely exorbitant amount to pay. I was recently advised by a colleague to take out life insurance so that upon my death, the policy payout will cover the estate duty. Please advise if doing this will be permissible.
