Q: I have a question on money earned from football, I just want to know if the money is haraam or halaal?

Q: If someone has done fraud and is selling designer clothing and items by means of fraud, is it permissible to buy any clothes, shoes or accessories from this person Islamically?

Q: I am a policeman from India. In every police station there is extra income besides the salary. I do not do any corruption to earn this type of money but in the police station the administrative police staff give extra money to us without any demand or request. Is this type of money haraam or halaal for us?

Q: Zaid bought a cow worth Rs. 2 lakh. He gave it to Aslam on the condition that Aslam will take care of the cow, and will be responsible for providing it with food. Zaid will be taking 3kg of the total milk, and Aslam will take the rest of the milk, whether (4 kg, 5 kg or more). Is it a valid deal?

Q: I had around $48.5 of interest money in my Australian bank account. I wanted to get rid of it by giving it to a poor person. A few days back, in my office, there was a collection for a bushfire relief fund and it required staff to buy some raffle tickets which the company was giving a gift to the winner. I thought of giving that interest money as a donation so I told them that I am happy to contribute $50 but won’t take any raffle tickets. They requested a lot so I took the raffle ticket but Alhamdulillah I didn’t win any prize.

Now my question is, was my niyat of getting rid of the interest money fulfilled or not? Do I still need to give that $48.5 to a poor person or will the amount of $50 which I gave in charity suffice?

Q: I had taken out a life insurance policy with a dread disease cover many years ago. (I call that my pre-hidayat days). I have now been paid out part of the money for a dread disease, which is part of the life cover. Can I calculate all the premiums I paid over the years and take the money out of the payout as halaal money for myself? Can I use the balance of the payout for Income Tax payment. I would then cancel the policy. 

Also, what are the zakaat implications regarding this money if it is halaal. Do I need to calculate zakaat from the time I started paying the premiums or not?

Q: Are you allowed to work in a zoo or as a vetinary nurse in a vet?

Q: If an ustaaz comes every day with a few minutes of delay to Madrasah but he usually makes up for his hours by staying after the exit time. Is it allowed or not? Can we blame him for his delays?

Q:

1. I work as a Technical Support on a transport concern. The work will be when the need arises and I fix them. There is some leisure time also. Can I read Quraan in that time?

2. I used to see some personal mails, social networking apps during this time, is it allowed to do that?
