Q: Are women allowed to perform salaah behind the imaam in the two Harams?
Q: If there is only one child for salaah, must he stand in his own saff or must he stand in the adult saff?
Q: While sitting and performing salaah, I mistakenly tied my hands after coming up from the sajdah of the second rakaat instead of placing my hands on my lap for tashahhud. Does sajdah sahw become compulsory, like it would be compulsory if I were standing and performing salaah and stood up by mistake and then sat down?
Q:
1. If I start a Salaat at the time of sunrise, zawaal or sunset and then realise the time, must I break the Salaat or finish it?
2. If it's the time of after Asr or after Tahajjud, must I break the Salaat or carry on?
3. Is it the same for fard and Sunnat and nafl Salaat in the two answers for above questions?
Q: If you wish to pass in front of somebody praying salaah, is the following method OK?
1. Walk and stop right in front of him
2. Stay in front of him for the time it takes to say "SubhanAllah" thrice
3. Walk away
If it is not OK, how long does one have to stop in front of the person in order for it to become OK?
Q: An old person cannot get up easily from sajdah. He takes support by leaning on the ground/holding a chair next to him.
Is the above better or should he rather sit on a chair for sajdah?
Q: Due to being unwell, a person performs Salaah sitting on a chair:
1. In such a case, how does he perform the ruku and sajda? Does he lower only his head OR his entire upper body?
2. For the sajdah, does he have to extend his hands further than his knees, creating a "place of sajdah"?
Q: When performing qadha salaat (qadha umri) at home, do I need to recite Iqamat?
The qadha salaah that I was offering was not missed by me in the first instance. I had offered them but later it transpired that those salaat were not valid. For such salaah, should I recite iqamat when performing it at home?
Q: What is the ruling regarding the Sunnat Salaah? I see it where people do not perform the Sunnat Salaah at all. They understand that as long as the Fardh Salaah is done, the obligation of Salaah is complete.
Please advise as to how to best address this.
