Working as a teller in the bank

Q: I have a job interview working for a bank in the USA. I was told that it is haraam to work for an American or foreign bank because they deal with interest rates (RIBA). However when I work there I will be at the cashier, depositing the clients money in their account, not directly with riba. Please advice if this is haraam or halaal?

Dealing in interest

Q: You know banks pay you interest if you have account with them and if use credit card you also pay interest to a bank. So if you receive and give interest(riba) would you be in hellfire forever? Below words from Quran says forever. Trade is like usury, but Allah hath permitted trade and forbidden usury. Those who after receiving direction from their Lord, desist, shall be pardoned for the past; their case is for Allah (to judge); but those who repeat (the offence) are companions of the Fire: they will abide therein (for ever). [2:275]

I thought only thing will put you in hellfire forever is shirk.

Working for a company that studies fingerprints

Q: We run a DMIT company (dermatoglyphic multiple intelligence analysis). This is based on the science of dermatoglyphics (study of fingerprints) which reveals a person's inborn brain lobe functions, diagnosis of psychological disorders, learning sensitivity, multiple intelligence, learning style, brain skills, personality traits etc based on study of finger ridges of an individual. Is it allowed in Islam to work for such a company?

Working for a bank

Q: The only job I have ever had since I have finished school was at the bank, it is all the experience that I have. Is my salary that I earn Haraam?Due to our financial situation I am forced to work.

Dealing in shares

Q: Is stock business halaal? If I avoid items like bank, insurance, financial institution and so on? Again, When a new stock item comes into market it offers many people to apply for that and among them some people are allotted with that item primarily. It is done by a random selection. After that they return the money of others. After a limited time this primary stock comes into the regular stock market. Is this halaal or haraam in Islam? Can I apply for that primary stock item?
