Q: I permanently work and reside in Sydney, Australia with family while not owning any property here. My parents live in Lahore, Pakistan in a house under their ownership whereas I own a residential plot in Islamabad, Pakistan.
I'd like to know if I am travelling and staying at any of the above three locations under 14 days, where should I offer full prayers and where would qasr prayer be required?
Q:
1. Is it permissible to shoot paintballs, now that there is evidence to show that the paintballs are made from swine?
Will the masala differ according to how much of pig gelatine is used in the paintball?
2. Can a person perform salaah if he has these paintball stains on his clothes?
Q: Insha Allah I have intention for Hajj. So we leave on the 28th of April from JHB.
We'll be 10 days in Makkah
Then 12 days in Azzizia
Then 6 days of Hajj
Then another 6 days in Azzizia.
So what I want know is where am I musaafir in this whole trip and where am I muqeem? Do I regard Makkah and Azzizia as 1 or what?
Q: Is it recommended to delay the Fajr prayer and Asr prayer?
Q: A person leaves his home for travels. The airport is approx 20km away. Does he read Qasr Salaah at the airport, as it is still within the boundary of his home, or does he qualify for Qasr Salaah as he already left home with the intention of traveling?
Q: I want to know if a head gear such as a cap or a cloth covers some or most part of the forehead during sajdah position, would the sajdah be valid?
Similarly, if the sleeves come between floor and the palm thereby covering some part of the hand during the sajdah, would the sajdah be valid?
Q: If the sunnah muakkadah and ghair muakkadah prayers are performed sitting down on a chair and the ruku and sujood is done bowing sitting on a chair, is the salaah valid?
Q: A person travels regularly between PMB and Durban. He has a daughter in Overport where he stays occasionally and he knows that till this point, he is not a musaafir.
However, when he leaves PMB with the intention of visiting family in Isipingo (safr distance), but only after staying the night at Overport (meaning he will only go Isipingo the next day), will he be a musaafir from the time he leaves PMB?
If, as above, he intends to visit Isipingo (the next day) and reaches Overport, but then changes his intention and decides not to go (as the family member is not there), will he be a musaafir?
Similarly, if he leaves with no intention of visiting Isipingo, but only decides to visit Isipingo when he reaches Overport, will he be regarded as a musaafir (since the total distance with Isipingo will be more than safr distance)?
Q: I have problem. Last year I had a panic attack while performing salah. From that day I am unable to pray salah in a masjid. Whenever I went for salah in the masjid, my situation becomes very worse. A lot of times I had to cut my salah and come home and then I performed salah at home.
My question is, can I perform my salah at home till my situation becomes good.
Q: If one felt the taste of blood in the mouth and eventually so he went to bathroom and spat out and there was discoloured saliva and didn’t seem to see blood and swallowed intentionally as he didn’t think there was blood but it tasted like blood. So most likely he would have consumed blood but not intentionally. Does this mean his salah may not be accepted for 40 days because of consuming this blood?
