Q: If prize bond is haram, can I purchase a car in a money draw money because some people said prize bond is interest?

Q: Many financial institutions nowadays have rewards programs where you earn points for every swipe that you do with the credit card. Some you need to pay a yearly fee to be part of the club others you don’t pay anything. Just by swiping you earn points. Is it permissible to use these points? 

Q: If I recieve a gift from a na mahram who is interested in me and the gift is perfume regarding which Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said (mafhoom) should not be rejected, what should I do? If I accept it then it will give off that I am also interested which is not true so can I give it back?

Q: I work in a construction company and I’m responsible for selling the scrap from the workshop. However, when I sell the scrap for e.g. $2000, I keep $100 for myself and make an invoice for $1900 and submit it to the accounts department. Is this considered haraam?

Q: I stay in a rented apartment which has a common park and green area for its tenants. Is it permissible for me to grow some herbs, like coriander, in the common green area and use it for myself?

Q: A certain wholesaler buys a product for R10. He retails it for R12.50 and wholesales it for R11. Now, since there is a shortage in the supply of the product, he wants to raise his wholesale price to R11.50. Is this permissible?

Q: My husband owns a house and money. He wants to make it half mine and half his. How do we do it according to shariah. Must it be written in the will or must we write a seperate letter stating what we want. Should I also do the same?

Q: I know that it is haraam to deal with interest, but buying a house today comes with great difficulty and is seen as a need not and not a want. Can one use interest recevied from an investment account to offset the interest paid towards the house?

Q: Some companies promote their products by offering them for free for for a limited time/at a specific place. Is it permissible to consume these products?

Q: I got my job through the reference of my father's friend. I always doubted the procedure for acquiring a job but under my father's pressure worked for 3 year then I left. I thought that Allah will not be happy with me although I wanted my Allah to provide for me a job by better means. Now I want to know that whether I can use my past experience to find a new job or not?
