Q: My wife cheated on me and stole money and gold. Do I need to pay her haq mehr if I decides to divorce her. Please be noted that cheating and stolen things she confess to already.

Q: My nikaah took place a year ago. My family and my in laws mutually decided our rukhsati after 1 year. Its been a year to our nikaah and they are asking us to wait for one more year whereas I and my husband do not agree to do so. Whats the Islamic solution to this?

Q: If someone got married through the court and didn't fulfil the requirements for it to be an Islamic valid marriage, is this marriage still accepted in Islam?

The bride didn't have a wali due to her being the only Muslim but there also wasn't any male witnesses present during the ceremony.

Q: Please advise if children are allowed to play outside during zawaal time, zohr azaan and asr azaan.

If they are allowed, does their hair need to be covered when they are outside during these times?

I am asking about kids that are not baligh yet.

Q: What if someone feels intensely jealous of others and they just don't naturally find contentment in their heart when they look at their own blessings? Like a woman loves her husband and can't imagine life without him but unconsciously, she compares him with other men.

Does this mean that she doesn't actually love her husband in truth? She is disloyal to him?

She can't find it inside her heart to be happy although there is nothing wrong with the man. He has good character but her eyes just seem to be trained on others, ignoring what she has.

Please give a general advice on jealousy and if this means that the woman is not loyal.

2. What should be done on the 7th day and if a baby is born on Wednesday after esha when is the 7th day?

3. If a baby's hair was cut before the 7th day, will it be OK?

4. What is the procedure of weighing the hair and giving out charity?

Q: I am a sunni girl, Sayyed by cast and got a proposal from a Khoja Shia non Sayyed boy.

My question is, is it ok to get married into a Shia family? If so, what is the right way to do nikaah? Should it be done both ways? 

Q: A certain boy wishes to come and see my daughter for a proposal (samoosa run). We intend to reject his proposal, but is it permissible to allow the boy to come home just for the experience of how it works? Please advise.

Q: I have a question regarding a tradition called "dood pilai" in Asian households.

During weddings, there is a tradition in which the brides sisters take money from the groom and in return give him a glass of milk. It's usually pre planned with the groom so he comes prepared. This event involves free mixing during the wedding and also pardah is not observed properly.

My question is, is the money which the bride's sisters took from the groom haram in these circumstances? Is it haram to use or keep it as a gift?

Does not observing modesty during this event make the money haram to keep or spend? If the groom earned it through halal means but it was transferred to me through free mixing, does it make the money haram to spend?

Q: Parents save money in a bank for their one child. The age of the child is seven years old. They do not give any zakah for that money. If parents ask the child may we use this money for this (something) purpose and the child says yes, can they use it with the child's permission? Can they do qurbani from that money?
