Doubts in Salaat-ut-Tasbeeh
Q: If a person is not sure how many times he recited the tasbeeh in Salatul Tasbeeh, should he recite the tasbeeh a few extra times or should he just carry on and remain in doubt?

Q: What is the mas'alah regarding Isha Salaah in the city of Chicago U.S.A. According to the Salaah timings calendar there are 2 timings for Isha Salaah i.e. Isha 1 & Isha 2 (the time difference between them is about 30 mins). Isha 1 corresponds to the disappearance of shafaq-Ahmar (15 degrees) and Isha 2 corresponds to the disappearance of shafaq-abyadh (18 degrees). At the moment the masaajids mostly follow Isha 2 due to "ihtiyaat". But the place where I will be performing taraweeh, if we follow Isha 2 then we will be finishing our taraaweeh around midnight (due to Isha 2 starting around 10:40pm). It will be quite difficult for the musallees due to sehri ending around 3:15am. The person in charge left it up to me to decide whether to follow Isha 1 or Isha 2, but they will be pleased if I follow Isha 1. What is the best thing for me to do?
Q: What is the mas’alah regarding taking money for leading the Taraaweeh Salaah during the month of Ramadhaan? In the country I live in, most people performing Taraaweeh accept the money and gifts that people give them.
Q: I read a mas'alah on http://www.thejamiat.co.za/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id… below:
"It is not permissible for a Hafiz who recited Taraweeh to receive remuneration for his Taraweeh recital. His Salaat will not be accepted if he takes a fee or ‘gifts’ for his Taraweeh performance."
But In the Masjid of our village, people collect money for Imaam (he leads taraweeh), and give him at the last night when he completes recitation of Whole Quran. Is it correct to do what is being done in our village?
Q: My mother passed away a few days ago. Is there fidyah to be paid for some missed salaah or fast? If so, how do we calculate it?
Q: I would like to know, is it necessary to do sajda-e-sahw if we pray "Subhanarabiyal azim "only once in ruku instead of three times, also if we mistakenly pray "subhanarabiyalala" only once instead of three times in sajda?
Q: I would like to know while reading namaaz, can you have a cd playing in the background (recitation of Surah Yaseen). Because we have learnt that when reading saalah you have to give you full concentration.
Q: In a Shafie masjid, when the imam makes salams at the end of the prayer, the congregation waits until he has completed both salams, then they make their own salams. Sometimes the salams of the imam are lengthy, making the congregation wait for a long period (longer than 3 subhanallahs). If a Hanafi follower also delays his salam in this manner (waiting for the imam to complete), will his salat become invalid due to delaying a wajib (i.e. intentionally delaying the first salam)?
Q: Please can you clarify for me. There is a masjid/classrooms/ladies namaaz area in one building. The masjid-mens namaaz area is on the first floor. The wuzu khanaa, classrooms and ladies namaaz area downstairs. The classrooms are used for namaaz when there is an overflow of males. The ladies area has a separate entrance door to that for the men and classrooms.
In some peoples mind, the ladies area does not form part of the masjid. They call it rooms. So they say, the ladies are not going to the masjid. Is this thinking correct? Can the ladies go to the masjid/rooms to make namaaz? Can the ladies read namaaz behind an Imam in Jamaat? Can the ladies go to the masjid/rooms to read namaaz but not in Jamaat? Can the ladies go to the masjid/rooms to read Taraweeh salaat in Jamaat? Can the ladies go to the masjid/rooms to listen to lectures? Can the ladies go to the masjid/rooms for a nikah? Can the Bride go to the masjid for her nikah but being in the ladies section?
Are Ladies permitted to go to the masjid for any reason whatsoever?
Can the ladies go for Eid Namaaz to an Eid Ghah?
Please advise.
Q: If one is in a mosque and the person that leads the prayer makes masah over regular socks. Now is this reason for one beforehand that one should not pray behind him (as normally people wash their feet in the morning and then wipe for the salaah thereafter), or is it essential that one must have seen him wiping before that actual prayer?
