Q: I am 15 years old but I was misguided and tried a few love chant spells that didn't work. What can I do to ask for forgiveness and do I need to revert as its shirk. The thing is I am only 15 years old so will it not be as punishable?

Q: I try my best to pray salaah 5 times, stay away from sins, tell others about it but because of one thing I am really depressed. Because of this I am not able to concentrate in salaah, etc. At present, I keep a very little beard. I want to keep a long beard as we know in Islam it is mandatory to keep the beard and not to cut it. My parents live in Saudi Arabia and I am studying in India. My parents, especially my father don't want me to keep a beard in india because he is worried that after the new govt came in power, the Muslims are being attacked and put to death. There have been cases of this also. So he keeps shouting and telling me not to keep it there and when I come back to Saudi or a Muslim country then I can keep it. I keep thinking about this and I get headaches. I am not able to concentrate in salaah and I don't live a happy life just because of this issue... I tried explaining to them in a nice way but it dosent work. What should I do?

Q: About a year or so ago, a family member of mine was driving his car extremely fast and this lead to an accident which caused the death of his cousin and his cousin's wife. The question I would like to ask is whether he has to pay diyat for the accidental cause of the death.

Q: With the advancement of science and technology, scientist and researchers in China, Europe or other Western countries are creating Animal Human hybrid or trying to create a human child from animals using stem cells or sperm of human and combining them with animals cells to produce human child and became successful to some extent. In future if due to such thing a human child is born from animals and one tends to drink the milk of those animals, so are the laws of foster relationship or “Razaat” develops with those animals according to Islam. Q: Is it permissible to write a poem for a person who dies? A scholar died recently and poems are published to remember and grieve for the loss. Is it allowed to do such things in Islam.

Q: I am an active cyclist. Crashes are often and we tend to get a lot of cuts and bruises on our body which causes our hair to get stuck to it and infect it. Is it permissible for a man to remove his legs and arm hair in this situation?

Q: My best friend commited a major sin, he committed homosexuality. I told him that it’s a very big sin and Allah punished the people of Lut (alaihis salaam) for this sin. I told him that he needs to repent and turn back to Allah. My question is, does Allah forgive homosexuality?
