Q: A few Muslim people that I have come across have said they are going to attend the Durban botanical garden trail of lights event. This is where the whole garden is lit up and there are light decorations and things like that.
Upon looking online I found that there are a variety of lights, and some include a Christmas tree, the animal carrying a cart with Santa Clause, there is even people dressed in crusts outfits and Santa clause. The advert mentions it is in the spirit of the season as well. This is a non Muslim event and there is also music and other things.
These people still insist there is nothing wrong with just seeing lights and say we not going there for the Christmas items just to walk around and see the lights.
Mufti sahab, many Muslims are going for this event, and they believe there is nothing wrong. Please can you check it and provide a ruling stating why it's not permissible to go there and the reasons to get them to understand. I can forward this to all of them.
Q: Is using ChatGPT just for conversing, something good to use? Some people could be seen saying AI is dangerous while others say it is beneficial.
Q: If we praise the kafirs, will it be kufr?
Q: I asked chatgpt to make some funny jokes on conversation between angels of the grave and some renowned atheists after their death. Is it kufr?
Q: Is telling a sin to get a ruling on it sinful? Will it reverse one’s tawbah? What if the sin is more severe like Zina or kufr?
Q: Is the Zabur also considered to be corrupted/altered?

Q: Does taking sin lightly and boasts of it makes a person a disbeliever? Such as zina, slandering, stealing, drinking alcohol.
Q: I don't remember from where I have read something about how Allah Ta'alas greatness grows continuously. Can you please grant me clarity about the aqeedah about this belief?
Q: If I deliberately imagine about rebirth and a Hindu family for entertainment, would it be kufr?
I watch tv serial and then imagine about the characters of the serial and they are Hindu. I know it's a major sin but is it equal to doing kufr? It is not unwanted thought, I imagine it intentionally.
