Questions from a high school student regarding the Hadith and Taraweeh
Q: These questions are from a high school student:
1. What is the ruling regarding drawing animate objects and why did Allah specifically create us from clay and clay is a flowing thing so why are we not allowed to also create?
2. Regarding the hadeeth, it has never been said that it was never changed. Only the Quraan is intact, so how would you know if all the hadeeth have not been changed?
3. Regarding taraweeh, they say that people only started reading it after the passing of Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), so it's not a must. Is it considered as a bidah?
Making taubah after surviving a natural disaster
Q: If a person has survived a tsunami or an earthquake, will the taubah of such a person still be accepted for the remaining portion of his life considering the fact that this person has experienced the punishment of Allah.
Dancing
Q: Is all dancing haraam? What about culture and Banu 'Arfada?
A: Yes, all types of dancing is haraam.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
Watching videos and looking at images
Q: Is watching videos and looking at images haraam?
For example, is watching a video on YouTube which includes no music or indecent clothing haraam, because there are videos which don’t include these.
I am confused whether videos are haraam since most of them contain music and indecent clothing or are they are haraam because looking at animate things is haraam.
Will watching a video which contains no music or indecent clothing be allowed?
Is looking at images haraam?
For example, is looking at an image of a bird haraam?
If the image contains no indecency is it allowed?

Q: In our school, two people had done a play in a program in which one becomes the devil and he tries to whisper evil thoughts into the other person. And the other person reads ta'wuz to ward the devil off. And he doesn't listen to the devil.
Was it sinful? It was done with intention of dawah.

Q: What do our Ulama say about sending kids or youth or adults to swimming pools or gyms where there are mixed ladies and men with no segregation and improper attire? Is a boy or girl, who are not baligh, allowed to learn swimming lessons in this environment? Please kindly advise?
Responsibilities of a daughter towards her mother
Q: What are the responsibilities of a daughter, who is an only child, towards her mother, who is a single parent?
Do any of these responsibilities change upon the daughter getting married?
What are the rights that her mother has over her?
