Sleeping after fajr
Q: Sometimes, I get up and perform tahajjud one hour before the time of Fajr, but after performing my Fajr, I often go back to sleep and put my alarm for ishraaq salaah to get up again. Is it permissible for me to do that?

Q: My son left the fold of Islam many years ago. We broke ties with him. Can I contact him now? Would I be sinful if I contact him since he is a murtad?
Making zikr while playing games
Q:
1. Is it permissible to play Roblox while doing dhikr in one's mind to avoid wasting time? Though at times one may forget to do so. Some aspects of the game include:
• Free mixing. Avoidable, though a non mahram may approach.
• Clothing (for the characters) that are inappropriate in front of non mahrams. Avoidable.
• Players using heads and faces (can lead to exposing images of animate beings from one's device.)
• Games that include impermissible aspects. Avoidable.
So, the Haram aspects can be avoided In shaa Allah, but other players can engage in it.
Also, the game consists of a variety of other games (exploration games, designing outfits, maybe riddles or the like etc.).
2. Is it permissible to replace the head using some other object like a watch, flower, planets etc. as long as it doesn't have a face or isn't the head of an animal or person?
3. If a non mahram approaches me and I leave the game soon/quickly afterwards without saying anything, is it permissible?

Q: Is it permissible to roleplay? Like pretending or playing as a certain/made up character alone or with others?
Saying thuma aameen
Q: My 7 year old asked me whether "thuma aameen" is made up by people or a sunnat. Please clarify this for us.
Hosting a function with intermingling between males and females
Q: When having a function, for example a Walima, Aqeeqah or any Dawat, will the host get the rewards of feeding people and keeping family ties if there's no separation between men and woman at these gatherings and intermingling is taking place?

Q: Can a man have a vasectomy?
He and his wife have both agreed this is the best way forward because they do not want anymore kids and she does not want to go on any medication or injection. Is a vasectomy allowed in Islam?
Women kissing each other on the lips when greeting
Q: Two married women who are friends kiss each other on their lips as a form of greeting, is this allowed? They argue that they have no desire or lust but only sisterly love. Is this possible? Sometimes their mouths are open too. I believe it is haraam.
1. Isn't kissing on lips for two females haraam and sin
2. If they kiss with their mouths open (not deep kissing though) it is bigger sin and haraam

Q: A church hosts a gala once a year and my helper who is part of the church asked me if I can I cook for them and they will pay me. Is this permissible? I will not enter the church or go near there.
Freeing a slave on behalf of someone
Q: I request clarification on the reason for karahat in freeing a slave on behalf of someone.
In ‘Uqood al-Jawahir, the sharh of Ashbah, an explanation is given regarding why freeing a slave for the sake of someone is considered makrooh. It explains that when one frees a slave out of honour, gratitude, or veneration for someone, it may resemble an act of worship, which is exclusive to Allah Ta‘ala, and hence makrooh or even impermissible.
Would like to know:
1. Is this explanation found in any mu‘tabar fiqh books?
2. What is the exact ruling of freeing a slave in the name or honour of someone?
3. Is there a distinction in ruling between expressing gratitude and actual intent of ibadah in such cases?
